As with any good army Sgt Whiskeyjack knows the unit is only as good as the command structure. A few handpicked Lords and Leaders, all proven in combat and trusted to oversee the vast armies now under his command. Armies of vassals and their followers all loyal to the same cause. To be the dominant fighting force in the realm and overthrow the Emperor.
Captain Paran was born from a noble family in the Malaz City in the heart of the Empire. A chance encounter with Whiskeyjack on a battlement, as the clash of battle below resounded around the walls, Paran knew he would one day join the army and serve under Whiskeyjack, dispite the fact Whiskeyjack's conversation to Paran was less than savoury towards army life.
At 15 years old Paran left his family behind and enlsited in the 2nd Army of the Empire and sent to a distant outpost to cut his teeth in service under the command of Whiskeyjack. Proving an excelent tactition Paran soon was promoted through the ranks and at the age of 24 he was given command of his own army. He led the Emperors 15th army to war and sucessfully captured several cities along the empires borders which had seen many bloody battles previously. These citys are still held by the empire to this day thanks to the 15th army.
At the age of 37 Captain Paran was sent to oversee the reformation of the 4th army with the now demoted Sgt Whiskeyjack. Even though paran outranks Whiskeyjack there can be no doubt as to who was in charge of the 4th. Paran was the only person selected to accompany Whiskeyjack to Camberwell.
With the formation of the Bridgeburners Paran retained his rank of Captian and is second in command to Whiskeyjack. Why Whiskyjack has refused his title as Overlord is a much contested issue between the 2 soldiers and once resulted in a broken nose for Paran. As the years have passed on Camberwell Whiskeyjack remains stubbornly known as Sgt and Paran has since given up trying to change things.
Capt Paran

The last Lord to be promoted by Whiskeyjack. An expert tactitian and battle leader. Her knowladge in battle strategies is second to none.
Hailing from Camberwell itself she is the only native to recieve a title from any of the Emperors warriors. Born in the wilds she was found wandering around the battlefield by Paran holding an enormous egg. It was later discovered the egg was a dragons egg. How she survived in the midst of battle is unknown but she was taken to Whiskeyjacks keep where she proved to be an invaluable asset to his keep. At 9 years old she proved to have an instinctive knowladge of battle. She could look at the map of the known wilds and know how many soldiers to send to conquer the position, should it be mountain ranges, hills, grassland, lakes or forrests. She even knew the strength of the various bandit camps scattered around the realm. Camps full of canibals that had been a needle in the side of Whiskeyjack for years.
She also contributed with city building. As the campaign carried on throughout the years it was soon learned that the fortress would need to expand. Thus great cities were born in Camberwell with the fortress at the heart. Crystal Rose's knack of knowing how many garrisons for soldier training, how many homes to house families flocking to the city to avoid the war raging beyond the new walls. With the extra people came extra responsibility for Crystal but she seemed to soak it up with ease. A true asset to the Bridgeburners.

Logen hails from the deep south. Not much is known about his homeland but rumours abound that Necromancy is a practiced part of their religion. Logen joined the Bridgeburners recently and his skill in comunication and might growth has quickly elevated him to Lordship. After saving Cpt Paran on the battlefield he won the trust of Whiskeyjack. Paran to this day swears that the blade Logen deflected sunk deep into his waist and there is no chance he should have survived but Logen seems to have remarkable healing properties. So remarkable that wounds just seem to close up.
During one particularly grisly battle Whiskeyjack and Logen were cut off from the rest of the Bridgeburners and Logen cut a path through enemy troops with such violence he earned the name "Punisher."
When asked about his past Punisher refuses to talk and Whiskeyjack, having seen the dead look in his eyes, has never pressed the issue but rumour among the alliance is that The Punisher died a long time ago and has been resurected by the necromancers in the south. A rumour that Punisher is well aware of but does nothing to deny.
